That's actually not too bad of a price for the whole truck. The 10 tons always go for more, of course, but the 5 ton and even duece and halfs can be had for anywhere from $1500 to $5k in decent shape. Gotta keep an eye open for the good surplus deals. If only I had a place to park it...

Watch out on the surplus stuff, the miltary will take part off of it, and then sell it so, be careful of missing items.

I missed out on one a few years back I could have had, it was only about two miles from my house. Could have got if for $2500 and was in perfect shape but it sold the day I came up with the money

The 10 ton is too wide to drive on the street though without removing the outside tires on the rear:--)
