Anybody watck "Pinks" last night?

Bully Dog was racing one of their Dodge Cummins trucks against a gas race truck.

It won the three races, but blew its radiator doing it! :-laf

Seems like a good trade to me - a radiator in exchange for what was undoubtedly a pretty well built up challenger's truck! :-laf :-laf

I'd say they blew more than just the radiator. After the last run it looked like it was smoking up a storm idling back the staging area. Maybe the turbo let go. . Although it was still cool to watch.

Yep. . it blew way more than a rad. They ran it dry on the last run. . she came back after winning "knocking to beat the band". I'd say they broke even... an engine for a Small block S10.

Ya, the Rams hp I'am sure was w/ the bottle @ 850 vs the S10 @ 350 w/o. wonder the hp on the S10 with.



A built small block with slicks vs a diesel 4x4 with radials.



Coolest thing is that the Ram (if he didnt blow the rad) could have put that S10 on the trailer and pulled it home @ 15+ mpg!!

They race heads up and the BD truck wins by a 1/2 car.

Then they gave the S10 3 1/2 cars and the BD truck won by a full car.

Were they sandbagging?



I thought on the last race, when it was breaking down, "race it as hard as you can and with full nitrous".

That way you either win or they get a wrecked motor. :-laf

Well the way the show is ran seems pretty silly to me. Just who can sandbag or lie the best will win, if they dont break something or run out of drugs.



I was not really impressed with either one, Bully Dog driver did not really seem to be launching hard(maybe that sandbagging thing) and who runs out of nitrous during a title for title run???

The S10 had the bottle the whole time, it was the Ram w/o the first race. It was at the begining of the show that they flash the "specs" that the hp was advertised on the S10 as 350 hp.

The tech guys for the show did not know what to think about the Ram. I still don't think those guys know what hit them. 8000 lb Diesel ran with that little S 10 dragster.



On the last run it looked he had nitro util about 1/2 track. That's where ran out?



The first show was a pretty good con job. The guy in the Camero had a chasis that was hooked up to the track. You could tell this was not a novice with that kind of HP.
