Ok guys, here's the deal. My grandpa's motorhome (Bounder) has a 99 ford chassis, with a v 10. On his last trip it was using coolant, a lot of it. So much actually he had to turn the motor over backwards to get the water out of the cylinder to get it to start.
Anyways. I know it's either a head or head gasket. How much of a pita is it to change one on that motor. The whole motorhome thing doesn't make it any easier. I know it has an overhead cam, and a balancer next to that. I did the head on my truck and on 350 chevys, but is this a lot different? Do I have to look out for anything in particular? I just don't want to get it apart, or him to get it apart and be in over my head. TIA
