Anyone aul vehicles in California looking for one to haul my 01...

Hi guys i know there are a lot of guys on here who are car haulers anyone have a rig setup that can handle a 01 quad cab long bed diesel the trans is shot and I need it to come from LAke Elsonore to Hayward CA thanks for the help been trying to find a trailer to go get it but nobody will rent a trailer anymore

One option is buy a good used trailer and make the move. Then after resell for darn near what you paid for it. Paying to move something any distance is quite expensive and I have known some who saved quite a bit with this trick. How many miles is that tow and at $ 1 to $ 1. 50 per mile maybe ? RC

They still rent car trailers, but like RC said, it is expensive. It cost me $600 to rent one from Seattle to Colorado! It would be better to buy a good used car trailer for around a grand, and resale it. They are handy though, I love mine. . New it cost 1800. 00, it is a 18' dovetail, 6000#. .

I go to so Cal often , have 18 ft flat car hauler, moved my68 chev 1/2 ton around. what is the weight of the truck yoy bought ? might work something out. stormy

Thanks guys for the responses u-haul has nothing rated for the truck and will not rent without renting the truck too and there is no way I am driving a crappy non maintained powerstroke from so cal to norcal... . The truck is my 01 it weights around 7600 pounds. Any help is appreciated
