Weird question I think because of the 4BT... I recently replaced head gasket and when I got the head back from the machine shop, and long story short I advanced the timing so that the head of the pump is in the way of me reinstalling the OEM boost tube to the fuel pump head (not sure the right terminology here)...
So, I basically came up with my own little setup using 300 psi flexible rubber hose that's braided... Anyway, logic would tell me if the flexible hose is rated to 300 psi, then under 15-20 lbs of boost, it would not expand. But the OEM tube is metal and/or a stiff plastic, not a rubber like what I have. I basically need to make some sort of tube and would prefer to do it with a stiff plastic tube like a small flexible PVC or osmething like that (similar to the Cummins replacement plastic) but can't think of a good source for this... Hope all this makes sense. Here is a photo of my current setup. Just not sure it "cuts the mustard" if you know what I mean...
