Like the title says , has anyone got a list of parts needed and instructions? I have read that timing is a big problem to overcome. I have a 215 pump that i can get cheap from brother in law, i was thinking of getting it and hold on to it till the vp takes a dump.

Sorry, dont have the list, but there was one on here not too long ago. Might try a search. I would think if you get the pump cheap enough, it would be worth grabbing regardless if it ever ends up on the truck, you could sell it later. Im pretty sure you need a 12v front timing case/cover, custom fuel lines and need to modify the 24 valve head for clearance where the old apps mounts. others will chime in im sure. Not aware of a timing problem though.

I read a while back where a guy did the conversion but for the life of me i can't remember a list. I plan to grab the pump for sure and i may end up with a timing cover aswell it is from a core engine. I wonder how much different a 24v will sound by changing the pump?

I'm having an engine done up by Piers, and was ready to go with a P-pump conversion. Piers and Mark both talked me out of it, even though they would have made a lot of money on the deal. They stressed that the drivability would be terrible, compared to a 12v even, and that it would be nearly impossible to tune it just right. Basically, they told me that I wouldn't be happy with it. Something to think about.
