Do you know why they don't just replace the lower 3 leaves with a spacer block?, is there some benefit to having them there?

I would guess that the expansion tank might dampen any tendency for bounce as well, I found that the airbags on the rear of my truck add a little bounce, though I'm sure good shocks could deal with that...

I would like to see better pic's of that upper mount. The one from the bottom shows the bolts. DO NOT go thru the frame. It has a pinch plate above it on the inside of the lower frame rail flange. If the rest of the upper mount is held down this way. I think I would pass on it.

As far as the two lower leafs being flipped. That won't change any of the caster spec's. It will just lower the rating of the spring pack. If you would blow a bag or a line. You would be driving on the rebound bumpers. Then you would know the meaning of a rough ride. :)

The best item I have found to improve the ride on one of our trucks is a good set of aluminum rims. Go from 50 pounds of steel rim to 10 pounds of aluminum helps the ride a lot. Less unsprung weight makes for better ride.
