I just bought a set of Cooper Super Traction tires (37-12. 50-17's) They pull extremely well and my truck rides really good and you dont evern hear the tires unless you are going above 70 with the windows down.

I got my truck stuck trying to pull out an older chevy and a small tractor that my ex-girlfriends brother got stuck. Well, it was about 11 pm and my truck just sank! Was up till 2 am trying to get it out. Next morning I got a John Deere 6420 and pulled it right out. Kinda embarrassing when i was trying to show of to a bunch off girls but it was my own fault.

ASchwartz My truck looked exactly like yours did on that job site. Well guys, you keep saying get some better tires. Last Summer a couple of friends and I took my buddy's 24ft Centurion out to the lake. Well the paved launch was full and the Park Ranger said they opened the dirt launch if we wanted to use it. I get over to the dirt launch and here is a 2003-ish Lexus LX470 I think it was?? It had a 22ft Mastercraft behind it, dropped the boat and pulled out of the muddy launch without spinning a tire. I luanched from the same spot, as soon as I dumped the boat into the lake, I pulled forward with just the empty trailer and started to spin tires, If I didn't put my foot to the floor I would have been fetching my truck from the lake. I learned that lesson and ditched my factory BFG Rugged-Trail 265 series tires for the highly reviewed BFG All-Terrain T/A Ko and a few weeks later Launched from about the same spot, no problem and a lot better traction. These are the same tires I have today, they have about 80% tread left and should be more than adequate. What better tire can I get in a 285 series than won't ride like a dump truck?

the interco truxus was my favorite mud tire it was smooth, quite, very good in the mud or snow what ever you need and they have the best life. I think when I sold the truck the tires had 20,000 on them and they could have gone atleast another 10,000 easy!!

Hit a wyoming sink hole. Tires are BFG RATs. 4 hours of digging and a 3/4 ton chevy couldn't budge her. Next day a wrecker popped me out.

Funny you mention it. Last night, we wnt down to the river to go quadding. I had my Cummins with stock tires (that just changed, Ive got M/T's on order). My buddy had his 2wd Chevy. We both have Grizzlies with mud tires, etc. He pulled in, and got stuck. I pulled up beside him, backed up to test the ground, and it was fine, so I parked it. We unloaded, and went for a ride. When we got back, my truck had sank :{ With both trucks stuck, I grabbed my Grizzly. We fought for about two hours, then gave up. It pulled his truck out fine. Then, we put his quad in the back of my truck for weight, and it broke the back window :{ :{ :{ . Finally got the trucks out, but man, I almost might go trade her off on a Power Wagon.

"If ya ain't never been stuck, ya ain't never tried hard enough!"

A humbling experiance to be sure. Just once in my '02. Luckily it was at the back of my property on a partially completed road I was laying down. Soupy mud and a sixty dergree drop of about 15" or so. Only 700' from my house, so I was able to go home and pull her out with my '85 Ramcharger. 265/75 BFG AT's. Since then it's been mudders for me, and I ain't looked back. Two seconds to get stuck, two hours to demud.

Been stuck twice. The first was 2 weeks after I got still had the street tires on it. Sunk all the way down to the frame. One big wrecker, $75 dollars and 200 feet of chain hooked to the winch line I was out. The second time I had a set off Dueler A/Ts on it sunk the front axle. Called a friend with a wrecker this time.

I know have a set of BFGs 285 and a warn 12k winch on it.
