just bought a couple off ebay ...



gonna mount them on my '01 on the rear bumper i welded up this summer ...



mostly be used as steps ...



has anyone has ever broke or ripped one loose?



if so what failed?

I'd like to hear the answer to that one, too. I also bought a set off eBay and installed them on my Ranch Hand front bumper.



Before anyone asks, yes, I used Grade-8 bolts, nuts, washers & lock washers. Heck, I even gave them a shot of black paint so they'd blend in. :cool:

Well, I haven't hurt one. Pulled out a Suburban the other day after a good snow. I wish the hooks were spaced out about a inch further. It would make putting an eye ended strap on a lot easier.

Be careful pulling stuff backwards, one good wheel hop could bust a ring gear :eek:
