no, these clutches are going back. Both trucks are going with autos. I've had two DD in my 695 hp truck(neither one held) and the truck just gets slower with more HP. The stronger the clutch the slower it shifts. I like driving my truck and hate being beaten by stock VW bugs. I remember when Gene (sledpuller) couldn't get any clutches to hold and BBD has the iron giant and has a chevy for his daily driver. I'm not flaming anybody, I'm just tired of being prommissed that things going to hold, and then here that there's a new product, try this one instead, then the next one, then the next one. BBD has had 3 that i know, Mitchel, Haisley, and South Bend. I'm just tired of clutch problems in general. Its not one company, its just too much power generated by out CTD. South bends are the most user friendly and the quicker of the big guys in shifting.

Peter's South Bend Clutches are about the best street pulling clutch your going to get out there.

Quality and parts used are 2nd to none, customer service is also the best by far.

I had 10 or 11 hooks this year with my 3850 ceramic and it still holds like day one, that is 3 local wins, 2 exhibition wins, 1 2nd and 1 3rd place (49th @ IRP out of 87) daily driven, no weights.

No offense but Sledpulling any clutch takes some work and know how.

Even in Indiana there are many who just don't know how to pull a sled or launch with one.

I am thankful that I had an experienced puller give me some tips on how to actually pull with one of these things.

I have gone through growing pains sledpulling and I am still learning with every pull.

I have 20+hooks under my belt and plan another 10-15 next year.

Hopefully you get things straightened out and the Auto works better for you.
