Anyone found a souce for AAM LSD Yet?

Yeah, looking for an aftermarket supplier for the LSD for an '03 3500 dually (see sig). It's the only thing I didn't get. Don't ask!

Didn't mess it up, the truck came with an open diff and I want to add the LSD unit.

Unless you luck out and find a wreck in a junkyard I bet the dealer wants your first born and a sack of gold. But as an option the cost next to nothing.

Thats exactly why I'm on the prowl for one. Best quote yet was for $1560. 00 and the dealer would eat the labor to install since the truck was quoted as having it and I found out the hard way on the Alaska highway that it in fact did not have limited slip. Screw Dave Smith Motors and there $1560. 00 "salesman mistake"! :-{} :-{}

Sorry yo hear about the missed order, here are a few sites that may get some "real o. e. m. " parts in your hands ! Maybe your dealer will hold true to his word and not charge labor. The parts may be available thru the others sites if AAM won't sell to us direct. Plus the tech support from the other sites is worth it's wheight in whatever !

By the way , it looks like AAM has the lsd carrier available for our 9 1/2 front diff's to match the rear assembly if anyone is interested. ( I know I am. ) Oo.

If it was a mess up that you already paid for then why buy another unit? Have Dave Smith send one up to have it installed. Unless it was left off the order sheet and you didn't get charged for it.



I would like to find a place that sells all the advertised locking diffs that AAM mentions on their website.

I second the request for the supplier. I would love to get a hold of a selectable locker for the front end. I tried for a catalog yesterday but I missed them by 15 minutes.

I called Randy's Ring & Pinion and they have a couple of dozen on order for stock and customers but they don't expect to have them for a couple of months.
