MGordon, if it wasn't too much trouble, I was wondering if you could verify and address at 1440 Benton Street #1.



This guy I bought a bunch of vintage road maps from a month ago doesn't ever answer the phone, has a bad email address, and I haven't been able to make contact with him since shortly after I made payment.



If you were feeling really brave I'd have you knock on the door or tape a note on the door letting him know I need to hear from him (if indeed such an address exists)! But even if you just check it out for me I'd greatly appreciate it!

Bad news, last minute change of plans. I will only be going as far as Blackfoot and someone else is taking the Idaho Falls stretch and leaving me without a vehicle for most of the day. I would run up anyway and check for you but without the vehicle it makes things a little more difficult. If I find a way to make it up there I will let you know but right now it isn't looking to promising.

I finally heard back from Paypal. Their conclusion: Seller is at fault (duh) and we can only recover 52 cents. WTH?????

Good news! I finally heard from the guy. I got a long email from him explaining what has been happening lately. His mom had major neck surgery due to osteo-arthritis and had a lot of complications from it. He went to stay with her for over a month to help her out and he didn't get my stuff mailed out before leaving. Then while he was there the clutch went out on his car so he was stuck there until he could get it fixed. Then after that he came down with a staf infection in his throat which laid him up a few more days.



Either it's a great story or he's been through a lot lately. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. At least I'm happy he emailed me and was very apologetic. So I may get my stuff after all



So, don't go breaking the door down just yet!
