input shaft flange bolts... . Rammin On is guiding me thru this to see where my leak is coming from but i am having a time with the 5/8" bolts on the flange. not easy to get to. i have used 2- 3/8" extensions and a crow's foot and cheater bar. they are on tight. any helpful comments appreciated. thanks. scott.

I havent done the 241 in the CTD but last week putting a seal in the 207 in the Jeep Cherokee it was way worth the trouble to drop the transmission mount from the frame, held the engine up with a jackstand.

If you use a 3/8 drive and a 10 inch extension, you can get the one on the outside of the angle of the shaft. This is at the top. Keep the front end bolted up and put a long screwdriver through that end to oppose it while you loosen the bolt. Then turn the front shaft 90 degrees and repeat.

Put it back together with anti-seize compound.
