2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Anyone had to tow a CTD

Had to tow it to the dealer with my wife's Ford Tauras. That was sure a sight to see! I thought it ran out of fuel with over an 1/8 of a tank but I couldn't get it started after putting in 10 gallons. Mechanic said the cam position sensor went out. But, when I figured the mileage, I know it ran out of fuel and now the gage doesn't read accurate with 8 gallons left when the light comes on anymore. It used to work like a top, now I watch the trip meter.

I had mine towed when it was three weeks old. The dealer-installed alarm decided to activate, and could only be deactivated by pulling both negative battery cables. Dealer sent out a KW rollup, and hauled it away. No charge, and fixed a couple of hours later, with an apology.
