Just put 5" stacks on and I'm thinking that 6" stacks would look better on a dually. Anyone have 6" stacks? Post pictures if you have them.

You already want to mess with that great looking set-up? ;) That is one of the best looking stack jobs I've seen. I would'nt change a thing. I personally think that 5" is the optimum size for a pick-up. Maybe you could fit some BIG pipes on it. I saw a truck a couple of days ago with probably 8" stacks. Skip 6" and go staight to 8". :D

If you look in my gallery, there is a picture of an 8" stack... . it's HUGE. :D  Mine are 4", so you can see the difference in size.

Cheers,

Sean

PS, Puff, those are some great looking stacks that you have right now. Oo.

Thanks for the replies.

Wasn't sure about painting them black, but I think they look great the same color as the truck. Chrome stacks are nice, but the black really looks good with a black truck.

I won't change them for a while, if I do at all; but after they were on I couldn't help but think that 6" stacks would look even better. 5" chrome stacks somehow look larger than mine. I think the black color makes them look thinner than they really are.

I wish I could afford the bed space for dual 6" stacks. As stated above, I have a single 6" stack now and love it. Mines actually 4" from the turbo to the BD brake, exits the brake to a 5" expander, 5" pipe through the bed to a single 6" stack (Bullhauler style). Chris T. has dual 6" stacks on his 2500 and they look and sound real sweet. There are pics. of both of our trucks in my gallery (readers rigs). I needed a transfer tank so that is wedged in the space that the other stack would rest. If I ever decide to give up that tank, I will have dual stacks for sure.

been thinkin'...........

I have been thinking about that same thing. Replacing my 5" turn outs with 6" bull haulers. The price is keeping me knocked back right now.
