Just saw a 3500 with "Rocker Pod"s mounted on both sides. They seem to be a storage area that mounts along the side, below the cab, and seems to also double as a step.

Anyone know anything about them?

They look heavy duty and the hardware durable but I can't find out anything about them

Dont have them but recently saw an episode of Truck U on the speed channel where they installed them on a duramax. Looks like a pretty cool set up, if you need that kind of storage.

here is a link to the episode. Episode 424 -Hot Shot Hauling

I tried pulling up the website for the company that makes em but it wouldnt come up.

Thanks for the info.

I just spent about 10 minutes looking at their site, including the "video" and, unfortunately, the only additional things I know now are:

1. They are in Canada

2. They mount using the body mounts

3. They are aluminum and use stainless hardware

4. It's taller at the doors than under the cab. (it's deeper than I thought)

5. Their website is pretty, loads slowly but tells little about the product. (no length, width, depth, height, thickness, weight, color options, door sizes, weight limits, etc. )

The website creates more questions than it answers.

AND... . I still have no clue as to the price or even price range. Since they boast about their CNC manufacturing and the aerospace quality I'm going to make and EWAG and say that they are somewhere between not cheap and overpriced.

I think this is a slick idea and I'm picturing my towing gear being stashed more conveniently using this type of compartment instead of "up and over" the sides and into the toolbox.

I poked around a little on the web and there were some references to seeing them at the SEMA show. The guy said they appear to be stout and well constructed. The Jeep guys aren't too enthused, given they hang down pretty far. The manufacturer replied on the Jeep site and said they were working on a lower profile "slider bar" type for the more hard-core trail guys.
