Car Trailer

hi, guys

i am moving all my stuff into my parents garage while i wait to move into my first house the end of august. i hauled everything in "olga" except for my sears roll cab and top box. anyone have a small trailer that is really low to the ground (so i can push the tool box onto the trailer) so that i can get my tool box to my folks place?

i also need tips on trailer towing as this will be my first haul!! woohoo. believe it or not i sold my girlfriend on the idea that i would need olga to haul with. the only thing so far has been motorcycles, a couple of sofas and all my stuff (hers will be next).

thanks in advance. i am in san francisco.

I have a trailer. It's only roughly 3,000 miles from you in N C. You may have to get ine from U Haul. Or if you are still in the Corps get one from on base.

Good Luck

I'm like CRuD, you can borrow mine. Everybody else does. If you don't find one, you may look at one of the little trailers from Uhaul. They are fairly cheap and if you get the small enclose one, you can move some of your sweet baby's stuff too.

i was in the corps for 12 yrs (got out 5 months before my peers were promoted to gunny which is the only thing that dissapointed me... . that would have been a cool rank, but probably would have been enough to keep me in), but got out 5 yrs ago. hell, i probably couldn't get the uniforms closed now :(

thanks for the offer guys. i thought u-haul would be best. i'm going to rent a small one this saturday. i'll rent a larger enclosed one for the move into the house (not going to do it piece meal).

still, if you guys have any pointers let me know.

p. s. i even just got a subscription to trailer life!!

It would be great if you had friends with horses. My step up horse trailer is real low to the ground. Great for moving things that run slightly heavy like woodstoves etc.

Careful with U-Haul. I was getting stuck with junk from them. We have Penske in my neck of the woods. Much better equipment. Course', with the Ram and a couple of trailers, I don't need to rent anymore.
