Anyone have DTT-TC??

i am looking to upgrade my TC to the 89% DTT-TC here in the next few months. i am leaning towards DTT mainly because of what i have read on here and also after speaking with MASSDIESEL (very helpful!!!) i was mainly wondering if anyone that has the DTT-TC mainly the 89% but also the 91% that lives mear Morgantown, WV or Hagerstown, MD that i could meet and get a first hand look at how the DTT-TC improves the driveability, thanks to everyone,

If you read the products board I put a post up about DTT, I did exactally what you want to do except I went to the guy that is going to do the install. My experience was worth more than money can buy, I will get the DTT stuff because I was just dumbfounded at the difference between his truck and mine. When I get mine done(waiting on the other truck to sell) I'll just be the test drive truck for anyone close to me, What we need and each TDR member that has the time and willing to help should make themselves avalible to let those willing to spend the money to drive there trucks(Just keep the kids out) the sugjest an installer and spend 30min to help them out (TDR family). I bet you can get this done cause it was effortless for me to do so.

Sorry I don't live closer, I wouldn't hesitate to let you test drive my truck. A little over a week ago I went up to DTT to have the 89% TC, VB, and Update Kit installed (and DD2's and EZ)... . after all was installed I felt like I had a new truck. Not that I didn't enjoy driving it before, but what a difference! All the people at DTT were great and I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again. Driveability was greatly improved! I live up near Harrisburg, PA. You would be welcome to try out my truck with a DTT tc (91%) and vb if you get in my area... . November is a bad month for me though, a lot going on. But if there is any time after November that you are in my area please let me know. As far as which brand tc to purchase personally I feel that DTT is the only way to go! If you want a second (or more) opinions just ask here on the boards. Bill and his crew are second to none! And the products they supply are just awsome.

If you wanted to drive up to the New York /New Jersey border, you could drive my 91%with DTT master kit, just had it done, and it's impressive

Ive got the 98%,my dad has the 91%,we love them both. They really transfer the power better than stock.

I'm out on the left coast but I can offer this. I just had mine done. Full upgrade, 89% TC and VB.



You will not regret it. The responsiveness is incredible. Give it gas and it goes. I actually gained ½ MPG with mine from not slipping so much around town.



A test drive is nice but then you will be chomping at the bit till you get it done. I also recommend the full kit. This is an engineered product and using only parts of it will not give you the full results.



Just do it!!!!

i would like to meet up with you sometime here soon, even though i have made an appt with MASSDIESEL to get the full upgrade from DTT w/the 89% convertor. i talked to bill k and shanti yesterday and he said that my truck is alittle worse than we had thought and that i shouldnt wait until dec to get it fixed so i am making the journey up to MA on nov 17th. if i dont hook up with you before then maybe afterwards bc i see that you have a jardine exhaust and that is what i WAS looking at but i would like to hear it. so when i save up enough money (after this nice transmission bill) i would like to get a 4" exhaust system. thanks alot

bandit1 , look on the events page , there is a meet in the baltimore area ??? on nov. 10 . massdiesel , myself and a few others from this area will be attending . massdiesel has the 91 , though he may have switched to the 89 by then ,in his ram , i have a 93 but you really don't want to drive my truck , and maybe ramified will be there ???

Europan test drive?

Bandit1, i have the DTT 91% setup (TC & VB). I travelled 23k miles round trip and then shipped back to Europe. Since then, I've covered 6k miles and I haven't regretted the upgrade ONE LITTLE BIT



This is a no brainer - you will not be disappointed. In your part of the world, you have a distinct advantage that I don't - access to certified Bill K installers.
