What about Air Ride technologies? They offer a 4 link system for around 1600 and also have an air bag replacement for the front coil spring.

As mentioned their kit is not a 4 link system and list for $2179 (I'm sure it can be purchased for a little less), and is only available for 2003 and newer trucks.

Here is a pick of the Road Tamer (Air Lift) system.

I'm sure it is a good kit as well but maybe we are not comparing apples to apples.

FWIW - Preston I'm sure you know ;) what is the list price for the Kelderman 4 link and 2 bag systems? Are the price of these systems really that different?

If they're getting that much money for something that simple I'd never buy it. It's poorly engineered for goodness sake. Find me another trailing arm suspension system that has a track bar mounted above the axle.

Hmmm, well I went to air ride tech. web page and looked at thier Airbar bolt on 4 link and it looks better than the road tamer. 94-02 Dodge dually 1599. Has frame brackets, axle brackets and panhard rod. Am I missing something here thier system looks pretty strong. On thier homepage to the left click online catalog the look to the right for Air bar.

That is different than your fist post that is where I got confused.

Guess I should have named the system the last time. They also offer an air bag for the front end that replaces the coil spring. Wonder what that would be like as far the ride and overall strength. Better than the coil spring?

You can't go wrong with the airbags in the front. They're height/weight adjustable, ride as good as coils, and you get rid of the shock tower allowing more room for turbo changes

Yeah Cooker, I know what you're saying there. The 2 bag system from Kelderman is about $500 less than the one form Air Lift, but it retains the springs, as you know. The 4 link is around $700 more than ART. But if you look at the two real close, you'll see the ART system is more for lowering the truck, and Kelderman unit is for hauling and raiseing the truck because of the way the bags are installed. I'm not saying the ART system isn't strong or for towing, just a little different application. The Kelderman system is the largest I've seen, as far as the size of the parts go.

But then I'm supposed to be biased. Tho I sell either, Kelderman is the best I've seen, and cost more. And part of the cost is back to "product liability". Not cheap.

If you had the time not that I have a lot but I made the below kit on weekends when I had time and some nights after work over a four month period during the winter then bolted and welded it up in the spring over a weekend, honestly though with price of metal I prolly have as much a kelderman system in it not sure what they go for, and there are some advantages to making your own like choosing the length of the bars and wall thickness. no warranty though :D but havent needed it, and if you saw me attempt to sled pull at IRP you would know its tough :-laf

Scott... ... ... ... I agree with you on yours. A really nice job. The

Kelderman unit is around $3200 now. Had an increase in price. Looks very much like what you have, but the links are not as long.
