Anyone out there lucky enough to have one ofe Marcos ECMs? If so give some feedback on them. Marco, what would the cost be for one of your programs? If you cant say over the net, just email me. I have been dieing to know.

Why don't you take your PowerChoking A$$ back to the F**D site where you belong. Just joking theres nothing wrong with a Ford, you need something in the rearview mirrior. All kidding aside.
I'm not trying to keep secrets from anyone. I have it from a reliable source that the ECMs are back and being real world and Dyno tested. Lets think for a moment, would you want a product thats untested, cost a pretty penny and maybe leave your truck dead in the water if it doesn't work. Remember the first PE's that had the stumble problem,(I have to commend Brett and Taylor for their fantastic customer support, we need more vendors like them). It didn't happen to all trucks,it did to mine. "What if" you send your ECM to Marco and when it returns it doesn't work with your truck or works great for a few days and then there is a glitch and your dead, "NO START" I think that would suck, because then what? do you pull the ECM and send it back? What if it caused another problem not the actual ECM? The ECM is the heart and soul of our ISB's, its not an add on box that can be removed to "see if that's the problem" I would rather wait for some real world testing to be done, yeah Dyno #'s are great for bragging rights but its not the whole story. What about reliability and driviability? Yes I want one, but I'm not going to be the first to jump on the bandwagon when I don't have the hard facts. We all should know something within a week or so.

I am very interested in one for an ETH I am still waiting for some info from Marco but have not recieved anything as of yet

ECM's are back to the States.
There's no secret at all. We're testing.
As soon as testing has started, a few problems raised their head.
Nothing too bad but the ECM's are in the States and I'm in italy...
Can we solve those problems, or do you want to send me your ECM now? #ad

Maybe it's better we test more, before we go ahead!

I guess that sounded a little different then I meant it. I would've thought someone would chime in and tell us a little more about them. Test away fellows.

I am with Bob and Dane on this one. We are all on the same team. Nowell has been nothing but helpful to a bunch of us. He has spent massive amounts of $$ and time doing research for us and giving the results away. Well all need to get along, the TDR is a much better place with HVAC on board.
 
With all those Flord Powder Choked Weasels and Chevriolette Door-a Mats around, how could we ever pick on each other ?????

I found it pretty sad that some people on here took some cheap shots at Nowell (HVAC) I talk to him often and as far as I am concerned those who are taking shots at him need to get a clue its funny how BIG people talk on the computer but face to face its a different story #ad
I had this problem on the ford site and I think its pretty weak to attack him after all the time and effort he has put into R&D and helping others get the most out of their trucks I have done buisness with him and will continue to as for all the #ad

Wish I knew what the heck all you fellas are talking about? At least with the Nowel bashing complaints. A fella down the road told me he had a ECM he was testing, and I havent seen a post from Nowel for quit some time. I wish he was still around... ... ... .....
 
I happened upon the other side of the story the other day. I understand why HVAC has been silent and respect him for that very much. I believe he is a lot more of an honest man then most. Keep up the good work Nowell.
 
HVAC is doing grass roots research we all need. I don't know about the problem, but we need to stick together rather than squable. DC ain't gonna help us. The guys like HVAC, Marco, Joe D, Piers, Bill K, WWCD2 and others are hard to come by. I hope this gets cleared up soon. Anyone who has run a 13 second 1/4 mile et with a stick shift has done their homework and deserves some respect imo...
