2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission anyone have part #'s for rear brakes

Looks like it's time to get into the rears... Does anyone have part #'s for the 1 ton wheel cyl's i've read about. I've also read about removing the load sensor has anyone done this? and what have been the results. I live in michigan and drive in the snow a lot, my concern is that the rears may lock to easy with big wheel cyl's and no load break on fluid pressure.

Do a search on rear brakes. GM cylinders are what a lot have used, I have EGR's on mine. Many have installed a turnbuckle type adjuster in the load sensor linkage to make them adjustable. Set it up the way you want it. .

I know I can search it out, but I wanted to ask you what the part number was on the GM cylinders. I have to do the axle seal on the passenger side and while I'm in there might as well change the cylinders too.

cool thanks that is what i was after. ??? What are some of your opinions on removing the load vslve ???

I'm running 35's with a 4. 5" lift on my '99 and went through rotors and front brake pads like they were going out of style. I switched to the EGR front rotors and pads as well as switched over to braided lines. That seemed to help out a bit but the braking performance was still lousy. I removed the rear proportioning valve and just ran a longer length of brake line in it's place. What a difference! Now I actually have four brakes stopping instead of just 2. The rear brakes were a little stronger than I liked and it was easy to get them to activate the ABS with little effort. I ended up putting in a Wilwood adjustable proportioning valve so I could dial down the rear brakes a little. Now I feel they are about the best they have ever been.
