Looking for someone with this tank in a 2ng gen to tell me other than the fill neck does anything else sit higher than the bed rail?? If so how high? I want to put my tonneu cover back on after I get a new tank installed. I know I will have to have a flap or something put in the cover for the fill, but not sure on the rest. Thanks!!

Karl, I recently bought a Transfer Flow myself and it sits perfect level with the top of the rails except for the fill neck. Only bad thing was having to remove my stacks that I got from a real cool guy at a meet this spring. I'm gonna miss them babies but not as much as I will miss filling my truck 3 times a day. Let me know if you want pics and I will take some tomorrow.

In the pic on there website it shows a box on the top that the lines go in, that is what I was worried about. Any news on another dyno day??

To bad about the stacks saw a pic and they looked good!!

Karl, The box on top of my tank was MIA when I bought it and the lines only come up about 1" above the tank. I am going to try to fab a heat restrictive plate between the stacks and the tank so I can have both. Maybe aluminum would keep the heat off the tank? I have watched a loaf of bread get well toasted when my wife used the truck to get groceries once and I don't want to gamble on melting the rubber fuel lines because there is only 2 1/2" of space between the stacks and the tank when both are installed.

I haven't heard about a dyno event yet in IL but if they plan on one yet this year it needs to happen soon because I don't want to freeze like we did this spring. I'm heading to the twin cities on the 22nd of Oct for a dyno meet and you are welcome to tag along if you make it to Iowa. I'm gonna head up on Friday night and get a room.

TDR #35, p. 126. The removable box covering the sending unit sticks up some. I sold my 97 a while ago so only have pictures for reference.
