Working in the oilfield in Alaska (Prudhoe Bay) for X-mass... . I will be here... lurking and wishing I was in town.

John,

Babette has to work a 13 hour shift on Wed. , so we will be thinking of you that day!

I just about have an Espar install figured out for her 03, using the universal kit.

I need to find a source for the silicone heater hose. I'm going to call SPA.

Why change now?

I've worked every major holiday this year, so why should Christmas be any different? I don't anticipate a busy night though, that'll wait until New Year's Eve when we'll process 10-15 people for alcohol-related incidents and the usual cases of frostbite (drunk, walking, and can't find their way home... happens every year), all from a population base of about 3500. But I get the 1st off, so here's looking at a better year than last, right?

Happy Holidays,

Adam,

You can probably relate to this!!

When I was stationed in Juneau as a Trooper (approx 30 years ago!!) I had to arrest a 70 yr old granny for OMVI. She came around the corner on my side of the road, I had to take evasive action and then had to follow her all the way to her house as she wouldn't stop!

This was all on Christmas morning, approx 0400.

The last thing she said to me as I was leaving the lockup was "Merry Christmas Sonny" !!!!

I took abuse for that for years!!!!

I'll most likely be working atleast a half day on the 25th. It's a nice time to sneak out to work when no one is around to bug me. I can't get some things done I need to catch up on without being interupted. ;)

I'll be working hard eating fried turkey and all kinds of other goodies. I'll even work hard at forgetting that I'll be at the inlaws on Thursday.

Christmas will be very laid back around here this year. We'll celebrate with the kids on Christmas Eve. There will be nobody but Mrs Doc around to irritate me all day.

Doc

Mee too

Night shift to boot, but the pay is grand$$$$.

would rather work nights than days for Christmas, spend time with family at home , take a little nap then go to work .

cheers, Kevin

I'll be working a night shift 3-11. Usually I work on all holidays unless they fall on my days off. Been this way for 25 years. If your flying into the Dallas area chances are I will be working your airplane. Merry Christmas all!!!

BRobertson,

I haven't had anything quite that funny happen to me yet, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time. For two years now we've had to remove street signs from poles because people decided they could quench their thirst with a little lick of frost. It is kinda funny to escort a person from the back of a cruiser when they've got a street sign attached to their face :D . No need to 'cuff 'em, as we've got cages, and they're too busy holding the sign up so it doesn't pull their tongue off! Did have one run though. Ever watched a 5'11", 130lb male caucasian running through snowbanks with a "STOP " sign attached to his face. Made it about 30 yards before he caught a fire hydrant with his groin :{ . He didn't run much after that, which is a good thing, because the arresting officer was rolling on the ground laughing too hard to even challenge him, much less pursue. Guess it's hard to see with all that metal in the way. The medics had a pretty good laugh over it too. Oh well,

-Happy Holidays Everyone!
