If you look on ebay there's a twin turbo set up with all the piping for pretty cheap. I was just wondering if anybody is running them or has tried them out and if so how they work. The auction # that they're on now is 2461192377 I know BD is coming out with a set of twins that are supposed to be inexpensive when compared to what's out there now, I wonder if they'll be that cheap... . I'll have to do some calling.

TIA

Well I looked at em... and its not clear what comes with the kit. Do you get the trubos and piping?? Where is the down pipe and the intercooler connections?? Also I don't seen oil return lines, or oil feed lines. Do you get the ATS manifold with that?? I really like the brace that holds up the back turbo, but how in the world do you get that on there if the motor is in the truck.

I was involved in putting on a set of twins that was a "kit". It was far more expensive and was not a really a "kit" but more of a collection of parts that should work... .

I would ask alot of questions before I bought those.

The one other question, isn't an HT3B a holset turbo?? he says its a schwitzer??

The turbos are an HT3b and an S-300. I don't think it will spool very well. Also the hot pipe is so long I think it would put things very, very close to the firewall.

TMTT.

The ad on eBay states they are an S-300 and an HT3b but it also states they are both Schwitzers, that was the reason for Jim's comment about his HT3b being a Garrett.

It looks like they might not be upfront with all their info regarding the turbos included

I know some people who have dealt with him before, both buying and selling. He doesn't seem to want to live up to his end of the deal.

Looking at the picture again i would say there is little chance you are going to get a down pipe on there without cutting out the firewall... .

I do like the way he connects the cold side plumbing. . cool looking flanges. I wonder if thoses little bolts actually go into the housings at all??
