I have heard of them. I BELIEVE they are from DD, though dont hold me to that.
The picture is of the tip and needle valve only; no body attached. Fuel flow and power come from the holes, which theyhave conveniently hidden from view. (not that I can blame them... . )
I have a line on a set of these stage 2, 80 horse ones. I have to find out if they are really just the nozzle or actually the whole injector. If it is just the nozzle is that something that can be made to work?
Just the nozzle is made from scratch. These get built with a regular ISB body or "holder" to be a direct replacement for your stock ones. We didn't want anyone to think we were building a complete injector from scratch, so the pictures are just of the nozzles.
This guy is telling me that he can sell me the nozzles by themselves... . Or for more money he will sell me the whole setup. are the nozzles removable from the factory housings?
They ARE EDMs, from what I have read. Many EDM injectors owe a lot to the pioneering work of Don Morrisson of Forumula One Diesel. The Great ~ hangs out over on www.dieseltruckresource.com
His injectors are considered by many to be the finest injectors available period.
