Does anyone in the Minneapolis know anywhere I can buy the Dodge cold front that fits under the hood? Every dealer I have called has not heard of it. Need one bad. I drove 20 miles to work and last night it never get very warm at all, She started good at -9F on the first try with no cycleing of the grids.

There is a post in this section with the part # under Mopar cold fronts. My dealer tried to tell me they did't exist either till I had the part #.

Thanks, I got the part number from that post also, it was #82208646. I did a computer search for that Dodge part number and it did not show up. Thanks for the reply.

Here is what I do and it works good for me. When the temps get cold I pull the fan and stick a piece of cardboard between the intercooler and radiator. I usually cut about a 6-8" square hole in the center to allow for a little airflow but when it is below zero like it is now I run a full sheet of cardboard and I get great heat. I work in MPLS and we have sheets of cardboard that are a perfect drop in fit if you need some.

ChillyDog, you actually take the fan completely off??? I was thinking of just cutting a vinal piece and using tie wraps to secure it in front right behind the grill up against the intercooler. Think that would do any good? Thanks for the info.

I bought the Cabelas front for $40. 00. Instead of putting it on the outside I fitted it to the front of the radiator cowl and like the DC front is not visible from the outside. It blocks roughly 80 to 85 % of the cooling surface. Definitly made a difference, but am holding out for the DC front when they become available again or I find one.
