anyone install a rear slider window?

comrades! have a 2018 2500 tradesman. considering installing rear slider window. heard its an awful pain. cant get any glass guys to even quote me a firm price....any input is appreciated. i have a rack on the truck for lumber, but occasionally carry 18 - 20 foot stuff, which id prefer to put through window and rest on tailgate. thanks in advance for advice. cheers!

Find a local window tint shop and see if they have a deal with any windshield companies. Might get lucky and get a deal with them.

Call your insurance agent. I know they seem to be able to find some company to do the work. I below out rear window on my old 2001 Chevy and the insurance company fixed my rear window that same day. They called a corporation and they showed up that day to fix the window!

Had to have the slider on my 03 replaced because of broken glass. Safelight did the install, but the guys working on it had a few expletives to describe the guy who designed the removal and installation process.
