Exelent post By the way on the Freeze plug! #ad

I am running a BD 4" inline down by the crossmember and I will tell you people with turbo mounts are shocked that it reacts just as fast if not faster than their own! It just may be in part of 4" worth of backpressure that may do it (Volume thang??) it also has a very unique sound ... allmost like a seriously loud blow off valve when she lets off too

The down side ... . it certainly gets cruddy under there! My flanges and bolts are WELL Aquainted at this point and seperation sure is not going to happen any time soon LOL! But never the less I am going on 45K on this set of front brake pads and there is plenty of meat left in em too! That alone will tell ya something! Plus winter warm ups are Q U I C K!

I've got the Pac, and have installed both the BD and Pac on a few trucks. They both work the same. You can't tell any difference between either setup.

If you're really interested in a Pac, I need to move up to a 5 inch, and will have the 4 inch available. PM me if interested.

57K miles so far on stock brakes. I use it everyday.

US Gear De-celerator

Bought it used a couple of years ago, reacts fast and brakes well. And is electric solenioid.

Current problems - The microswitch provided to activate from the accelerator position is a constant adjustment problem, since it mounted with sticky tape. The spring return is getting weak, causing it to stay engaged after shutting it off when at high rpm. Push the clutch in and it will release.

USG D-Celerator,

Air version, pedal microswitch is poorly (at best) designed. I replaced with a toggle switch for activation. Other than that I am pleased with it. Does a good job. I actually like the choice of the toggle, total control when YOU want it.

I have been running a Banks Brake since February. It's the computer controlled version. I have had no trouble with it. It's very effective & the "brain" does a great job. I leave it on all the time except when using cruise control.
