Has anyone in here installed an aftermarket seat warmer? I have looked at the Rostra (?) from Geno's, and also at the Mopar unit. Not sure if there are more?

But, I am really looking for details from someone who done it themselves. And I am only looking at installing a back warmer. I am a little hesitatnt to just go out and strip the cover off the back of my seat before fully knowing what I'm getting into- LOL!

I've read on here some accounts of removing the seat covers for adding cushioning. Everyone seemed to think it was a cinch. Perhaps a search for seats and cushioning etc...

The seat heaters are ok, but I've found they make me sweat in even the coldest weather on the lowest setting. I really need seat ventilation, but alas I ordered the Laramie package with a manual transmission. Some one at Chrysler decided that meant no seat ventilators for me, only heaters.....

the site just takes awhile to load up. . seems like decent prices for thier products. may have to give it a try

I spoke with some one at the company and asked them if they only had a ventilation kit, since I already have heated seats. The guy that answered the phone said no, also that he thought the heated seat panels from Dodge would have to be removed and his heated seat panels installed because they would work with the ventilation fans. I guess it has to do with positioning. I have no idea if my current factory seat heater switch would work with his heated seat panels. All of this would be mute if some one had decided I could have ventilated seats from the factory with a manual transmission.
