Cute Clean Joke:

I recently got back in R/C cars after about a 15 yr. absence , and decided to try the nitro powered stadium truck , and all I can say is WOW , 40 mph. is fast when its a foot and a half long and your controlling at a distance. Just wondered if anyone else is having their second childhood ( Not talking about our trucks:p )

TNLRacing's truck has to be the sickest most radical thing i have yet to see. I wanna say he has a Good 2500 dollars deep into it  Me My Truxus 18 motor will just have to do. (My Futaba on the other hand is my pride and joy)

I have a traxxas T-maxx which is fun for thrashing and off road. I also have a nitro 4-tec pro with a trinity picco. 16. 65 mph is something to see out of a car. It is cool to throttle the 4 tec and light up all 4 tires. I thought about a stadium truck, but i think my next investment will be a 1/8 scale buggy.

Nitro 4-Tec . 25 :) 60mph out of the box... . after i get done turbo charging and regearing it... 120... . easy;)

Seriously though..... just got it..... way fun..... way fast..... very cool!

Thanks for the Kinds words Tim..... I will try to post pics of that truck tonight. I have a . 21 powered T-maxx thats, in the words of ToolMan is NO WHERE NEAR STOCK!!! it sits on a custom made extended Chassis. All the Parts with the exception of the the Front and rear diffs, and the transmission is billet.

I also have a . 21 Powered HPI Savage that is bone stock and a blast to play with.....

I have two nitro powered boats... the guy I bought them from a LONG time ago said that they went darn near 50mph on the water.

Both run K&B . 21 water cooled outboard motors... one of the outboard engines has an aftermarket carb on it.

I put a brand new Futaba 2-channel radio in one of them and repainted it... that was about as far as I got with 'em. I've never even successfully run the engines. I later found out that I was using old nitro and heard that they won't run on old nitro.

Then I got into vehicles and the boats have been collecting dust ever since then. I'm open to offers... or trade for truck parts. :)

They say that the nitro in the fuel will "wick out " of the fuel , if it sets around to long. The thing that amazes me is all the adjustments that can be made to the vehicle to change the way it handles etc. You could literally spend hours setting it up to race for 15 minutes.

Ya I here you there, thats why I am wanting to sell my Tmaxx truck.

I bought it and ran it three time, and said the hell with this I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER of gathering all this stuff up to go out and mess around for a few minutes. The truck runs grate just a pain to set up and I never had anybody help or teach me about these things. All I can say is it was a really big mistake for me to buy that truck. Cant wait to sell it.

For what it's worth my rc-10 made me want to give it a toss , untill I got the 6th tank of fuel through it. Don't give up on the t-maxx so soon , it'll get better. I'd love to have one , but the price scared me away. Besides you've got it made , you've got electric start. :p

K&B(?)7. 5cc 32" fiberglass tunnel hull. Built a wood version spent 100+ hours building it then when I went to test darn think almost sank. Bought the fiberglass body hit with paint and installed radio/motor. Thing is fast at least 45mph I am told well I goofed on steering linkage and rolled that baby over about 10 times at full speed crank/conrod/piston/head are all fubar'd It has been sitting with the parts for last 7 years. Maybe I should get a car the hobby shop near me just opened an offroad course.

Well, I'm not into the RC Truck/Car - more the Airplane, the Jet kind. Check out www.mvjs.com - my web page for a local event a group of guys put on. I'm building a Starfire II right now, a . 91 ducted fan will go into it. Hoping that in a year from now I'll be able to purchase one of those Turbines and get the BVM Bobcat (www.bvmjets.com)

Really makes it tough to decide what to spend the money on, truck or jet?

I always wanted to try the planes , but I don't see myself as coordinated enough to keep it from doing the exploding into parts stunt . ;) At least the stadium truck gives me a second chance. I have to say though the R/C hobbie is quickly getting expensive , I have started to upgrade a few things like shock shafts, and tweak the set-up, one question I bought unobtanium shock shafts . What in the @%&# is unobtanium . The only thing I know is it's about $6. 00 a piece. Keep em' comin' guys , we'll have to get together for a race.

This past Christmas I got a Tmaxx 2. 5. Right now, its completely stock, and I enjoy running it. When I used to live in Ohio, my friends and I raced 1/10th scale nitro stadium trucks at the racetrack in the basement of our local hobby shop. I raced a RC10T with a nitro conversion kit from A-Main Racing and an O. S. . 12 engine with Airtronics radio gear. That was in 1993 and part of 1994. When I moved back here to California in the winter of '94, I was forced to leave the hobby for a while. Now that I've got the Tmaxx, I'm getting back into it as much as I was into it then. Its an extremely fun hobby, but it gets expensive real quick, just like BOMBing a Diesel truck, LOL.

Thanks... . I haven't really played with the truck in a year... . I will get around to the diff cases and transmission case. The T-maxx sits on a homemade extended chassis and is powered by a Ron Paris Picco . 21 2. 5hp!!:D The other truck in the picture is my sons savage!!

Tim Thanks for posting those pics
