Anyone keep Lake Malawi Cichlids?

I'm about to startup a Lake Malawi Cichlid tank. Used to keep some cichlids and also had salt water (Lion Fish, Clown Fish, anemones) but that was over 20 years ago. I've wanted to setup a good tank again for a long time and am ready to take the plunge. I setup a 10 gallon tank for my daughter a year ago and have it going nicely. I'm picking up a 90 gallon used tank tomorrow with an Eheim Pro II cannister filter. Anyone keep Cichlids that I could run some stuff by?

Yes they are. They are one of the most common Cichlids

Do you smoke them, ingest them, or take them intravenously?

My wife had a couple of 50 gal. tanks some years ago. The Cichlids sure do make a pretty aquarium. They weren't too difficult to maintain. Any specific questions I would have to run by her as I don't remember the details.
