Was just wondering if anyone knows anything on this subject. I think I found a Lock-Right LS diff. for the 70, but I don't know what spline axles I have. They have one for a 32 and one for a 35 spline axle Dana 70. Here is the info on it...

Any additional info would be helpful.

Thanks,

JD

P. S. I HATE this dang open diff. !!!!!!!

Yours should be 35 spline. 4 wheel parts 800-421-1050 should have the Dana trac lock or power lock, and the Detroit Locker. The latter is the best if you really want traction. Get the "bill of materials" number from the data tag on the diff cover and 4wp can tell exactly what you have.

IMO the Powr-Lok (sp?)would be the best choice in a limited slip. Much more aggressive than the Trac-Lok. (sp?)

If you want a true locker, it is sure hard to beat that Detroit or maybe an ARB.

I've got a powr-lok in the dana 70 in my '92, and it's just plain awesome. Unfortunately it cost me about $1000 total to get it in there.
