Another computer question

Tim,

Take a look at the RX-1 Mountain specs , in particular the 589 lb dry weight. Add 10 gallons of fuel (80 lbs) and 25 lbs of safety gear and you are getting close to 700 lbs with out a rider. Now drive it into 2 feet of drifted powder and it will sink like a scow. Don't get me wrong, the RX1 is very cool, and its a huge leap in tech that should get everyone on there toes, but its too heavy for a mountain/powder sled.

Ahhh well that makes sense as for me I don't do much Powder hopping at all if any. So yes you definatly make a good point that would suck in the mountain fresh. But being a barnstormer / trail rider / lake singer I don't have much to worry in that department.

Otherwise how do they like 'em?

Jr , it's great that you know people that have a set of 'em and had some time to pro / con 'em a bit.

To bring everyone up to snuff just

at a glance There is a obvious difference between a mountain sled and trail performance. Add eight pounds for reverse on the trail unit (ER)
