Anyone know of a Class V Adjustable Ball Mount for 3 Inch Receiver

The best ball mount (drawbar) I have found is the Reese Super Titan as far as specs go. Since I pull multiple trailers, I am trying to find an adjustable Class V. Not really interested in aluminum. I tried the Diversitec before and had issues with the lock pins and over time, the hitch developed a fair amount of slop. The Super Titan ball mount is rated for 4000 lbs tongue weight and 25,000 trailer weight. That's a hefty hitch. I just wish it wasn't straight. I would like to find an adjustable ball mount that will carry some weight and last. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I assume you mean ball mounts for the 2.5" receiver hole

Thanks, Mr. Donnelly. I meant 2.5 receiver. The edit function won't allow me to change the subject line. I was looking at the SuperTitan and had 3" on my mind. Thanks for the links. I've been looking at various hitches including Curt, Reese and Draw-Tite. Hard to decide on a good one that doesn't rattle all the time.

I think the Super Titan can be had in a drop/rise configuration so does Curt. I think the GVW drops some thou, maybe 18-20k. I don't like the adjustable hitches because they add drawbar length. I like my drawbar to just clear the bumper.

I agree on the length. I have an old adjustable and that thing puts the ball about a foot back from the bumper. My favorite is an old forged Curt that I have but the drop to too much for my new truck. I'm still on the hunt.

That Gen Y is a beast. I talked to them (Gen Y) yesterday and have narrowed my choice down to the Curt adjustable (14K Trailer Weight) and the Gen Y 624. I like the Curt because of the 1" adjustment increments but I like the Gen Y because it has the pintle as well. Also, with the Gen Y, you can mount two use two different receivers at once. Gen Y has a lifetime guarantee and will take a lot more than my truck is rated for. It is expensive, that's for sure. They said they would throw in the three ball hitch and that will allow me to get down to one ball mount. Thanks, Joe Donnelly for the link on that hitch.

I went with the Gen Y 624. What a hitch! It has some mass. They shipped by US Mail and the female postal carrier was a little surprised at the weight in that box. They are currently testing a Clevis for the 624 and when they finish, I will order it. They did the three ball and the 1-7/8 comes out and the clevis bolts to the hitch through that hole. I feel a little more comfortable now towing with this hitch plus I can adjust it. The pintle hitch is a nice feature as well. There have been a couple of times I had to borrow a pintle hitch but not now. Thanks for the advice and link. They bettered the Amazon price. It's expensive, but worth the cost if you plan on towing heavy loads.

It's a two inch but I really like my B&W adjustable.

I looked hard at the B&W and really like their products. Towing my tractor with the bucket on, etc, had me concerned about the tongue weight and that's the main reason I went with the Class V and more specifically the Gen Y. I wish it had the adjustability of the B&W. However, the four receivers actually have worked out to be just right. I hooked up the flatbed yesterday and the #2 slot on the hitch made the trailer level while loaded. I'm usually a little nose up on the trailer with my old hitch which was putting more extra weight on the rear axle. To level the trailer, I would move the load forward which then significantly increased the tongue weight. With it level, it rides much better with less wear and tear on the truck and trailer. I was hoping B&W would come out with an adjustable Class V but I don't believe any company is going to build one with 1 inch adjustability any time soon. So far I really like my hitch for what I do. With the open top receiver, I may put me a step on there since it won't interfere with the hitch in the second receiver.

If someone has a Torklift receiver (almost as ugly), this adjustable ball mount is pretty sweet. The receiver and ball mount is rated at 20k. The 2 5/16 ball w/ 1 1/4 shank is rated at 30,000. I have the receiver and it is super heavy duty.

Two times I have walked into store parking lots to find people looking at my new hitch. One guy had a F-250 that he uses to tow a pintle hitch trailer and had been unable to find an adjustable one. I told him that with a Ford, he really didn't need one this big. :-laf He laughed too. After a few tows, I really do like the hitch. It's easy to move the ball mount to where I want it.

I've never seen a set up with 2 shanks like that. Do you actually use both?
