Trade it in on a 4x4. :) Or spring spacers are available I'm sure.

Why pay for something you don't need. :( The back is easy, the front needs spacers or springs if somebody makes them. I want to do the same thing to mine so I might have to break out the moog catalog and go hunting for something that will work. Still not sure about the upper control arms.

Yep!If you look at the front of one of these 2X4's they are about 3" lower than the rear. Besides I like the look of a 4X4 but have no need for one.

And a lift is something you need???

yup, for me it is. i need my truck to sit level. while towing my truck sits level if i dont air up my air bags, but it rides a bit more harsh. also my unloaded MPG suffer a bit due to 4. 10's. so to fit the tires i want i will need a 2 inch lift up front. i dont like rubbing, i do love the sawz all... . not to this truck though, so a lift is NEEDED. with te tires around a 33. 5 or so i will be right in the midle of the RPM's from havding stock tires and 3. 73's or stock tires and 4. 10. power loss will be minimal, and since i will be going taller and just as wide i should have MPG gain, slightly. pluss a better looking rig.

i guess thats the long version... .

Just bought the Daystar Spacers

Just had the Daystar spacers placed in the front... Night and day difference. It only added 1. 5", but that's all it needed. The front still rides a little lower than the back, but when towing a trailer, the level is just right. Any higher in the front and it would look ridiculous towing a trailer.

The total cost installed, with tax was $229. 98 at Croft Truck Accessories here in San Antonio. So far the truck handles the same.

Great option for those who like the look of the 4X4, but either don't do any off-roading, or can't afford both the Cummins and the extra cost of the 4X4.
