Hi, I have a 99 2500 and it has it's issues that will soon need to be adressed. I am no master mechanic, and have no diesel experience... but I am not afraid to tear into my truck... if I have the right guide. I have picked up the hayes manual which is as genaric as they come with all dodge ram gas v6/v8/v10 and CTD models covered in the same book. It covers some of the diesel specifics, but not in great detail. I am not comfortable tackling these procedures without a good manual. I used to own a 93 Ram 150 w/a 318 and a guy at work threw me an official mechanics manual that they would use at a dealership. That manual was more helpful than any of the books they sell at Auto Zone. I am just in search of some tech books w/ maintence procedures covered for our trucks (diesels) specifically. Does anyone know of any book that have been helpful for us diesel owners? Please let me know if you've seen any and know where to pick them up. Thanks in advance-Josh
