Anyone know Thermocouple size for a Banks Pyrometer.

Hey guys:

I need some help from you guys running Banks gauges. I have a Pyrometer thats in another vehicle and don't know exactly what size the thermocouple is. Is it 1/4 or 3/8? I need to get my drill bit and tap so I can install these jewels Thanks

Banks Pyro Installation

JDemaio, I drilled my exhaust manifold on the 93 with a 1/4 inch pipe sized drill. Don't remember the exact drill bit size, it was marked on the tap for 1/4 pipe thread. Good Luck. Rick.

Just looked at mine, 1/4 NPT thread, use a 7/16 drill bit, good luck, that was the scariest thing I ever did, pre turbo drilling that is.
