Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Anyone know what a 24V crankshaft weighs??

They're heavy - I picked one up @ Deo's place... I'm glad I didn't drop it on my foot.

Powerstroke crank is 120#



Cummins crank is around 150#

Like to know exactly if someone has a crank and scale. Like to know the powerstroke weight as well.

How do I know?

Well, I work at Cummins and put one on a scale about 4 years ago.

The head weighs 150 lbs.

The crank 120lbs.

The scale was the digital one we have on the shipping dock @ Columbus Midrange Engine Plant.
