Craig,

I suspect your posting is for Adam Macomber @ Dishman Dodge, and that the CA is Cal and not Canada, Hey. Until he finds it maybe I can help I'm just purchasing a MegaCab 3500 from Adam and live in San Diego...

Bottom line here is the 6. 7L is 50 State Compliant... So you purchase the truck from Adam, either have him drop ship to a local dealer (local guy will normally charge Adam $250-300 to do so and this of course will be passed on to you) or you Fly into Spokane pay Adam for the truck only he gives point of origin and remaining paperwork you need for DMV plus a trip permit that covers your transit back. You take associated paperwork to DMV with a weight slip and pay your CA sales tax there. If I can help with any further questions until Adam has the time to chime in here feel free to email or PM me.

Pete

Get your truck built the way you want it for $4-4. 5K under Invoice/FWP pricing...

You can pick it up in Spokane WA or have him drop ship it to a local dealer...

Pete,

Thanks for the response, I really appreciate it. And yes, I was referring to CAlifornia, not Canada.

As you might have suspected, Adam responded to me immediately giving me everything I needed (except the "Wife buys off on it" slip). Now I just need to go over what I want/need and grease up the wife a bit.

I've been following the Ford sites quite a bit b/c that is what I thought I wanted but it's clear from plain old everyday reading and research that a new 6. 4 would not be a good choice (especially with the recalls already). I've seen the light.
