Where did you last take your truck on vacation?

You Worry Me............The Way It Is!

I was just wondering what it is like to live there, from what i can tell it looks like a place i want to move. How is the heavy construction and mining industries. I know Empire is the cat dealer I think there is one in Phoenix and one in Mesa.

How is the price of property compared to the Mid west. Any info about property, taxes, employment, and cost of living is appriciated. Any other info is great.

TIA

Adam

Cost of living is fairly high when you are talking gorceries and insurance and things like that. Taxes are very low, property is CHEAP, houses are CHEAP, wages are LOW too though. I would move back in a heartbeat if the money was there.

Pretty nice here. :) Houses are cheaper than in other big cities because land is plentiful. There is always construction, so heavy equipment operators and mechanics should do well. Insurance is high because we have a bad mix of seniors and young people. Mining is on the upswing again because the economy is down but I wouldn't want to be in the mining industry - no job security. I think there are lots of jobs here unless you're in the technology field. :(
