I found another link using the serial number from the engine, you can at least enlarge the pictures. I still can't tell what it is other than WEIRD.....

I even enlarged the emblem on the pump thingy at front left and it is not familiar to me either. Italian possibly, it certainly does not resemble anything German.

Well it's coming from the military base up past Reno NV out in the Middle of No where so it has to be something Military related . Look's to me like somebody is trying to Pre sell some of them on Craig's List unless they have already sold a batch?

Herlong maybe? That is/was an ordinance disposal site for a long time. I don't know what they do there now.

Looks like a Hercules engine, I can't begin to guess about the transmission.

It's Not a Hercules motor in 1 of the pictures it show's it was built by a company in India the last batch sold for 2300. 00 per unit
