Has anyone recovered ABS codes from a 95 Dodge cummins with RWAL only? Been chasing a problem for awhile and I believe it is ABS isolated problem. Haynes says to ground #13 black wire on a 16 wire connector but I cannot find such a diagnostic connector on my 95.

Have already checked the fuse, replaced speed sensor, checked the wiring all the way to the controller and have replaced fluid in the differential. Have also had the controller out of the truck and unplugged. The truck starts out with neither the ABS or brake light on but the ABS starts to engage at every stop, dumping pressure and making it hard to stop. Once the lights come bypassing the ABS the brakes work great.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Sjester,

I am not sure about ABS codes for a '95. Do you have the Tech Authority manual by chance? If not, lemme know and I will dig thru mine and maybe give you some help.

Found the correct wire through another forum. Now just need to find out what the one long eight short code means. According to Haynes manual it is dump ouput missing or valve wiring shorted to ground. Need to figure out that now! Anything in the tech manual?
