loud, no really loud. The resonance from mine was horrible, but I guess it matters were you have it dump. Also be careful on placement. Dad had his dump just after it went under the box and it somehow managed to go through 2 rear pinion seals. Aperantly there is some heat there.

if for no other reason i wouldn't want absolutely everything under the truck coated with soot, working on it would suck big time

my dad's had a turn down at the end of the pipe it was ok but it seems to sound and seem to run a touch better with it off not sure why that is but it is mostly stock.

This was a reg 5" exhaust but I cut it and put an angle tip while I wait for my stack kit. As is, sounds awesome except when cruising at 2,000 rpm where the drone will give you a migrane.

Yup,whacha wanna know??

Looking for opinions on sound/droning.

I'm debating going out the side with the exhaust or doing a dump.

I have mine out the side right now and it's pretty wicked. REAL loud at idle and the wife hate's riding in my truck.

Trying to make it a bit more tolerable while still keeping the Big Rig sound.

my system rusted out pretty bad so i asked the local muffler shop to chop everything off and turn it down to the road in front of the rear axle. sounds great until you try to run 70 on the highway with 4. 10s. the noise is awful. no sleep for your passenger.
