Is anyone running the 37" Goodyear MTR's on a 03-04 truck with a 3" leveling kit? Just wonder if there is enough clearance. Thanks,

I think you would need some fender trimming if you wanted to be able to fully articulate your suspension without taking out the fender. If you're not planning on any real offroading, you might be able to extend the bumpstops so that it doesn't interfere. I would suggest taking it to the tire store and having them mount a couple up on the front, and then jack each side of the axle up one at a time as high as it will go, making sure to turn the wheel lock to lock while each side is up. I was originally thinking of running the 37's with the T-Rex system which is 2" in the front, but decided for mileage and towing reasons I'd just go with the 305/70's. The fender trimming doesn't really bother me... someone on here posted some pics of their truck running 37's with trimmed fenders and it looked like OEM.

I am running BFG 315-70-17's now and when I am really crossed up in a ditch there is still a little rubbing... even with the Daystar Lift... so the 305's might not be a bad idea...

Don't need to do anything for 37" tires. Friend has them on A STOCK truck, no lift, no flares, no cutting, clear everything.

Does he take it off road? I *guarantee* that I could make 37's rub on a stock truck. He must never actually USE those tires on anything but flat ground. :-laf

Well, I'll have him come on here and tell you about it.

He has them on STOCK rims... At first they tried it on AFtermarket rims and it rubbed the fenders, but with a stock offset, stock rim, they don't rub nuthin... . and he does offroad it.

They will clear just fine running a T-Rex with the correct offset wheel. Don't own one yet but did get a wild ride Oo.

Then why did Kent Kroeker say that if you want to use 37's with his system you will need fender trimming to use the full suspension travel, even on the stock wheels?

Well... . don't know how I can prove that they will fit... I can take pictures, but that don't prove they won't rub...

Either way, That set has been on 2 trucks, neither rubbed.

The trimming is so minor you dont notice it,I didn't, it was Kents truck that I had my first Trex ride.

I am running the 37's with the T-Rex right now and have no clearance issues. I guess after a full droop in the rear you could just barely hit the front part of the rear fender. If you buy the wrong offset on a wheel, you will hit in the front and the rear. [/IMG]#ad

I've got them, and they only rub on full lock right turns. Factory wheels are a must, for proper offset. Aftermarket wheels will rub for sure on the backside of the front fender.

I have the leveling kit for now. Keeping a close eye on a T-Rex, though.

Did you have to adjust your turn stops? Do/did the tires rub the control arms at full lock? I assume since you run in the desert, you've pounded it pretty good, but have you crossed it up to its extremes (deep ditches, rocks, etc) and still had no rubbing? It's amazing to me how some people's trucks rub wwith 315's and some apparently can run 37's with no problem. When you got your T-Rex system did you talk to Kent about running 37's and find out why he had to trim and you didn't? There's got to be a catch here somewhere...

When I got my system, Kent and I decieded to leave the stock spring in the rear because I am going to a full "Race" spring. When I change to the new springs, I will have to cut the front of the rear fenders. There is a support on there that is one inch forward of the opening. You basically cut it from that up the fender about 6 inches and it will clear fine. My truck does rub on the control amrs but only while parking it. I never get myself into a spot off road where I need to go to full lock. If I do, I will let it rub, no biggie. You have to remember that when the suspension cycles, the front tires move forward as it goes higher in the stroke. As the suspension drops out, it moves rearward, giving a possibility for rubbing on the fender. I haven't tried a full "droop" and lock to lock to see. I Will have it on the rack soon, and will check.
