WOW! I knew that the fivers were popular, but I didn't know that they were so exclusive. I'd stay with my 27ft fifth wheel, but I just don't want the hassels of towing doubles with my little Willy's on the trailer. Everything would be great until that one wrong turn in traffic at the wrong time. (and I am a class A CDL truck driver of some 32 years)... ... ... ...
It''s a 24v with a one piece valve cover. It already looks to have a 4' exhaust system, probably factory. I was interested in a electronic type of power enhancer, just don't really know if the same ones from the Dodge trucks will work on the motorhomes? I'm familiar with the first generation mods but not too much on the 3rd generation stuff. I'll be able to reasearch this a little more this next week when I pick it up.
I'd giving Mark Chapple at TST Products a call. He'll know what power upgrades were available for a 275 HP B-series in a motorhome.
Depending on which Allison transmission you have, be careful with the power upgrades. If you have the 4-speed Allison, it won't safely take much more power. You'll be much safer turning up the power if you have the 5 or 6-speed 1000 series Allison.
Bill, I just e'mailed Mark at TST with all the known info on the Motorhome. Looking forward to hearing what he has got to say. As with my Fordge, enough is never enough. Thanx... ... ... ... ...
