I am running one, The only thing i don't like about it , is in the front , it doesn't have the receiver built in for a winch , I had to add a front receiver, Otherwise it does just fine, Monte

Do you think it cut any fuel mileage running it? I was thinking of buying the used one and cutting off the head light guards and leaving the center section. Do you have a picture of your truck with the guard on it.

Looooking Gooooood! Thanks for the picture!
So I see from your signature you are another lucky owner of a 2007 that was built before the change over to the 6. 7 with all the smog junk added. Nice Truck!
Here is my beast. The picture was taken before I put the fee spin hubs on. That was one of the best mods I did to my truck. Especially with the G56, I can select 2wd LOW range for backing trailers on hard surfaces with no worry of wheel binding.

Monte, I have the EMS free spin hubs that I have had on for 40,000 miles. Absolutely no problems. I did a group buy of the Dyna Trac hubs and bought a set for myself. I am going to try to put the Dynatracs on this summer. The Dynatrac hubs don't stick out near as much as the EMS hubs do. On your one ton, due to the out set on your fronts, neither stick out past the hub cap. The other benefit that I realized with the hubs was a true 1-1. 5 mpg improvement running empty on the highway at reasonable speeds (60-68 mph). Also the wear factor of running the front axle all the time when it is not needed. They also made the steering lighter... I guess by not having all the front end spinning while turning. No more junky sealed bearing assemblies either. True, big Timken style cone roller bearings now supporting the front wheels. A real Win Win!

If you can pick one up for 100. 00 you better jump on it, These run around 550. 00 here in Tx, I need to do the free spin kit, one of these days, seems there's always something more important to spend money on, Good luck with the ranch hand, got to go to West Tx, this weekend for Disaster relief, Monte

Motörhead, not sure if you live in N CA or S CA, but I would recommend getting it LineXed. If you are anywhere near snow conditions it will rust and flake apart. IMO, the coating they use on them is sufficient for sunny non weather changing areas, but that's about it. We've had numerous Ranchhand bumpers on our trucks and are very pleased with the bumper itself, it's the coating that's the downfall. Granted, I live where it snows and they use salt on the roads, the coating should still last longer than a year. We've LineXed a few of them and they've lasted for years.

My younger brother has one on his 05, as Tramplineman stated, his coating is flaking off, mostly on the or around the weld spots. He hits it with Rustoleum once a year, and unless you look real close you cannot see it.
