i am just wondering if anyone running this set up. i am thinking about it, but i have talked to Keith at diesel dynamics and he said that i would be running way hot with the DDUFM. i do not want to have to buy and new turbo to keep the temp down. what i am thinking is that even if i do get the DDUFM i will only be able to use up through 3 maybe and if that is the case i rather save the money and stick with the TTPM. Hopefully after this bomb i can stop at least for a long while. this truck need to last me a long time and i dont want to jeopardies that too much. i am leaning toward the TTPM right now but i can be persuaded if you say yawls temps are with in reason.

I have DD2's and an Edge Comp. With the Comp I can run up to level 3x5 with no egt problems, but after that it's past 1300. I am assuming that the TTPM is like an Edge EZ, if it is level 3x5 on the Comp is definetly stronger.

thanks for the fast reply,

do you think that i will have more of an EGT issue with the ETH (HO). i know they run hotter than the ETC and if thats the case i would not be able to get much over 2 probably. The TTPM is a lot like the EZ with out as much timing.

I run this with the drag version. My EGT's do not go over 1500 more like 1450. I'm only there for a few seconds, then it's time to shift or max RPM. When I tow I turn the Box off and EGT's stay at 1000 or lower. (WOT on a hill).

To add to what Charles said, The heat comes on real fast on any setting higher than 1x1-5. I have the HX 40 and I can still reach 1200* pulling 12,000 lbs behind my truck. That is on level 1. If all you want to do is tow go with the TTPM. But if you want to haul assk. Go for the UFM with the custom chip. Can you say 1600* with a stock turbo.

Another thing that you have to understand about BOMBing is that you need to consider building a complete package. IE; Comp,DDII's,HX40,AFE megacannon, 4' exhaust. That is the package that I am currently running. It goes from Superior tow machine to rice burner eater. If you want to tow: DDII's, TTPM, AFE megacannon, 4" exhaust will work great. If you go for the Comp box, you will ruin the turbo. Listen to Kieth, he does this for a living.
