Off Roading Detroit/Eaton Truetrac VS Torsion

Off-roading With camper

WOW!! Imagine what it costs to play BIG!!

Those guys know how to make power but they have found the edge of common sense...

I don't think it was high speed that did it, because the crank and rods are intact. It's just the block split right at the pan rails, I guess due to cylinder pressure! I played it 25 times when I saw it on Instagram. I suppose whatever they were doing, they found the limit for a stock block.

Another video I saw one of the techs said that motor had been somewhat of a test mule. Multiple passes approaching 200 psi and 2500+ hp.

Didn't sound like much more than maybe 5000 RPM.

Chris Watson was known to run around 2000HP and 200PSI in his sled puller nigh on 12 year ago.

Back to many years than I care to calculate when diesel fuel was $.55 a gallon and there were ABSOLUTELY no regulations on what a Owner operator had balls or lack of brains to put under the hood of a 18 wheeler. I was witness to a 3408 cat that had been turned up to the same point of destruction, upon wittnessing this I decided that MAYBE I should be a little more judicious with the amount of horsepower I had my 1693 TTA putting to the ground.
