Competition Anyone seen this?

Kinda along the lines of an individual tubed exhaust manifold. Would something like this really work?

seen it in person. It was a very nicely done and thought out job. He must have had a lot of time in it. And it looks better in your hands than it does in the picture.

The intake really works. We don't yet have dyno numbers, but it shattered the flywheel the first time out. The truck pulls very hard all of the way through, from idle to 4000+ RPM with just a drag comp. On level 3 the truck makes 60 PSI of boost at 1000 degrees preturbo, and pulled all of the way to 3700 RPM's. Yes, I see that now, I just looked at it quick before. It really looks sweet and broadened the power band too. It's awesome to see the wild stuff like this.

Why didn't we do that to my head when it was in there?? I could have waited a couple more weeks. Or is that what you did with my head? Seriously though, the truck's running great, I still have to find the time to get the fass on... May need bigger injectors... Always need more power (and I was thinking about mach2's ) Also going to be giving you a call, need another exhaust, one for my cabinet truck.

We had to cut off the side of the head, and make an adapter plate that is then bolted to the head for the intake.

I did take more metal out of this head than on yours simply because of our ability to reach the ports with the grinder. I think that the cost alone will scare most people as this is a truly custom deal that has many hours of my time in it.

We can build these for any engine setup. It's just a matter of knowing how the truck measures up. Ideally, I need the truck here for fab and fit up. We can also do stainless or powder coat.

What was the boost before ? because more boost would = more restriction right?

I've seen this manifold in person and it looks awesome! The pics don't do it justice at all. If someone wants to go "all out" with their head this is definitely the way to get alot more air along with major port work. Installed on the truck, it fits like a glove and looks sick! When I walked into ADT and saw this for the first time, I had dreams about it for alleast a week Top notch work, craftmanship, and alot of R&D hours went into this manifold. Definitely worth the coin.

I can't really say what the boost was since we had the twins gated at 50 PSI before the intake, and head work. The only restriction in this system would be the turbos, and or the valvetrain. I can tell you that the owner of the truck said it was much quicker, and pulled from start to finish, and the truck dynoed 580ish before the head work. We should have dyno numbers very soon.

indeed it would be interesting to know how much this would cost--not that I'm going to do it to my truck right now, but if the head gasket blows I may entertain the thought---so Doug when you get time let me know--also what would be required to add water or NOS injection to this intake header--truck is a 24v... ... chris
