Anyone snow plow with their 03+ truck?

I am considering putting a plow on my 04. 5, but I am not sure which one to buy. Do I need to buy the heavy duty springs and trans cooler from the snow plow prep package or will I be okay with stock springs and 2' spacers I have. What setups do you guys have? Any help would be appreciated.



EDIT: Forgot to mention that the truck is an 04. 5 600, 48re, 4. 10's, QC LB in case that matters. Thanks again

I had the same plow on an 01 GMC 2500HD with the Dmax/Allison.



This truck handles and plows better then the GMC did.

I plowed with my 03 with no plow prep and a 9'2" Boss V blade. Worked great!
